Maternity Photography FAQs
We recommend having your maternity images taken around 34 – 36 weeks.
Feel free to bring your own clothing or take advantage of my huge range of dresses! I suggest organising for your hair and make up to be professionally done prior to your arrival will give you that extra pamper and make you feel glamorous during your session. If you choose to bring your own clothes, stretchy dresses and tops work great, as well as normal jeans, linen shirts and cute underwear sets.
Please bring a seam free nude bra and G-string, these can be purchased from Big W or Kmart.
The session is approximately 1.5 for a Simple Session and 2.5 – 3 hrs for standards sessions.
At Howe Studios for indoor photographs and an outdoor location close to the Studio for outdoor photos.
The Studio offers a range of gowns, clothing, and flower crowns to create a beautiful unique look for yourself. You are also invited to bring your own clothing if you have something specific in mind.
Maternity sessions are usually relaxed and calming, a beautiful way to welcome the new baby into your life. We ask that you arrive with your hair and make-up done professionally, it’s is a great way to feel glamorous. It is truly a pamper day (even with swollen feet).
Once you have booked your pregnancy photography session, we will send you a list of items we need you to bring such as underwear styles and colours.
Your proof gallery will be ready within 1-2 days after your session, it will be available for you to make your selection from, for 10 days, after you have finalised your selection, the Studio will then retouch and edit those images for you and deliver usually within 2-5 days.
Natalie can also assist you in your choice of display options, including photo albums or canvas prints for your home.
