Now, when I say “X Man”, you’re forgiven if you think I am talking about the X-Men.
Nope, it’s not Wolverine, Apocolypse or Mystique. (Although, there’s a thought… Hugh Jackman at Howe Manor!)
X Man is a 2ft 5inch miniature pony! Yup, that’s not a typo (I have photos to prove it!)
I’d like to introduce you to our new addition to the Studio and the Howe family, he’s super cuddly, friendly and loves popcorn and carrots!
X Man arrives
X Man came to us at Easter, for the past 5 years he’s been lovingly cared for by the Weber’s Circus family.
He loved performing and the day we went to see him, he was itching to get into the tent when he heard his ‘cue’ song Edge of Glory by Lady Ga Ga.
However, Mr X needed to retire, and in doing so, mummy Wonita (Weber) needed to find him a good home.
I have friends who know them so once we saw him, we knew he was ours.
He had his left eye surgically removed back in March due to sun damage and was unable to perform because of it.
We worked hard during the Easter long weekend preparing his stable, and Wonita walked him into our property around 1 pm on Easter Monday.
He was spritely and ran around, eager to check out his new surroundings. Since then, he’s brought so much joy to my life! (It can be lonely sitting here editing all day every day, but between him and Frankie – they are an awesome distraction.)
Plus, once you get a horse cuddle, it’s addictive! You want more. It’s the best feeling to know they love you as much as you love them.
X Man photo shoots
So Mr X Man is available for photo shoots! We have sourced some gorgeous props to use with his photos (to my son and husband’s disgust, reminding me he’s a boy!) and he just loves children, especially children with popcorn!
Please join me in welcoming him to our beautiful property, I’m sure he’s going bring me many years of joy and put a smile on many faces.
